CLASS: JSS TWO (GRADE 8) DURATION: 40 MINUTES AVERAGE AGE: 12 YEARS


BEHAVIOURAL OBJECTIVES

At the end of this lesson, learners should be able to:

i. define an outline as a writing process.

ii. state at least five (5) importance of outlining.

iii. mention five (5) features of an outline.

iv. draw an outline for composition (e.g. narrative, descriptive)

· samples of an outline

· A flowchart that illustrates the steps in writing. (Pre-writing, writing and post-writing)
