Using Technologies for Language Teaching & Teacher Development

This year, our World Teachers’ Day Online Conference has been scheduled to reach every teacher in every part of the world. The event will take place on Saturday 1 October and offers 19 hours of online continuous professional development.
Starts in Vietnam at 03.00am UK time 
Finishes in Mexico at 22.00pm UK time 
As with previous years, British Council TeachingEnglish will be hosting a series of talks, workshops and panel discussions. This year our theme is ‘'Teachers at the centre of a changing world'. 
This unique online event will move around the globe with sessions happening in different time zones during the day. Starting in Vietnam and ending in Mexico, we aim to provide teachers around the world with opportunities to attend the event in their own time zone and share ideas with teachers in their region and around the world.
